What is a Chrome Extension?

Extensions are simple apps with specific features that often are an extension of a web application that has more functionality. The Mapsheet Extension is designed to automatically create Mapsheets either from your files or search results on compatible web apps like Costar, Reonomy, Landvision & Crexi (more coming soon!).

What if I don't use Google Chrome for web browsing?

The Mapsheet Extension works on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave and Opera.

How do I invite my team?

Click the home icon in the top left corner. Then, select "Settings" near the bottom of the sidebar. Click "Manage Team", enter your team member's email address into the text box and press "Invite"

How do I import an excel/csv list of properties?

Navigate to the Home Menu and select the "From File" card in the right center of the menu. Upload your file & name the mapsheet. For best results, include the Latitude & Longitude. Answer the questions and match the corresponding columns. At the end, you can select a column type (ie. short text, number, currency, percentage, url etc.) for each of your remaining columns. Press enter to initiate the import. You'll see the The import may take a few seconds up to a few minutes, depending on the number of property and/or contact records being imported.

How do I connect my CRM?

Click the home icon in the top left corner. Then, select "Integrations" near the bottom of the sidebar. Choose your CRM. Click the "Connect" button in the top right of the Integrations Section. Follow the instructions. Once your CRM is connected, you can automatically create deals by clicking the "Create Deal" button on the property profile you wish to create a deal for. Your property data and the contacts associated with the property will be added to the newly created deal in your CRM.

If you don't see your CRM listed, then let us know via the chat icon in the bottom right corner of the web app and we'll build the integration for you.

How do I add an individual property from the map to my sheet.

You can type an address into the search bar in the top left corner of the map. Make sure the property is selected. If a property profile does not automatically appear from the right side of your screen, then click on the correct parcel on the map. Once the property is selected, click the "Save to Mapsheet" button in the bottom center of the property profile that appeared from the right side of your screen. From there, you'll see the property record appear in your sheet and you'll be able to edit the fields/cells.

What are Templates?

Templates are pre-configured and/or pre-populated mapsheets. After configuring a mapsheet, click on the gear icon in the top left of the sheet (next to the minimize icon). Then just select the checkbox for "Save to My Templates". Next time you or your team members go to "My Templates" from the home menu, you'll be able to create another mapsheet with the same column configuration, statuses, tags, properties and data.

How do I create a new Mapsheet from a Template?

From the Home Menu, click the "From Template" card and select a Template Category. Then, check the boxes of each mapsheet you want to create. Remember, each checkbox select will create a individual mapsheet. Creating a mapsheet from Template allows you to systematize your operation and get to work faster.

What are "My Templates" and the other Template categories?

My Templates are mapsheets you or one of your team members created and saved to My Templates. The other Template categories have been created and open-sourced (made public) by the Mapsheet community. The author is responsible for the contents of the public templates they add to the Template Gallery. Mapsheet (dba Infill, Inc.) does not guarantee the data accuracy nor have any knowledge of the data's origins, rights, use. The author must only upload data they have the legal right to share with the public. We will be implementing a rating system to incentivize transparency and fair use of the data they publish.

Can I export my data?

Yes! Any data that you import or manually enter is your data - you own it. To export, simply select the checkbox to the left of each the property record in the sheet you want to export. To export all of the records, select the checkbox in the top left of the sheet next to "Address".

How often is the "Foundation Data" updated?

In short, as soon as the source updates the data. The data is either update daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly depending on the how time-sensitive the data point is.

For example, Last Sale Date & Price are updated daily due to the high time-sensitivity of transaction data. On the other hand, demographic trends are updated annually given the low time-sensitivity of demographic data.

Can you populate & maintain my mapsheets for me?

Yes! We have a 3rd-party partner with Virtual Assistants, Data Entry Specialists, Internet Researchers & ChatGPT Prompt Engineers happy to help. We will facilitate the hire & initial communication, then let you contract directly with them. This approach ensures you pay the best possible rate without traditional percent-based recruiting fees. We simply charge a one-time placing fee of $500 per hire.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Just let us know via the chat icon in the bottom right corner of the web app. Starter & Pro subscription plans are annual commitment - billing will stop twelve months from the day your subscription began.

Enterprise Plans can vary between 3-10 year commitments - refer to your contract or ask us if you are not sure when your billing cycle ends.
